Ghana winger Christian Atsu joins Turkish Super Lig side Hatayspor on a one-year deal

Ghana international, Christian Atsu has completed a move to join Turkish Super Lig side, Hatayspor.

The club officially announced the signing of the former Chelsea winger on Tuesday, September 6.

“We signed a 1+1 year contract with experienced right and left winger Christian Atsu, who previously played for clubs such as Everton, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Porto and Malaga. The signing ceremony was attended by our Honorary President, Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Assoc. Dr. Lütfü Savaş joined.

“We welcome Christian Atsu and wish him endless success with our burgundy and white jersey,” an official club statement from Hatayspor Kulübü has said today.

Last season, Christian Atsu signed for Saudi side Al-Raed but didn’t have the season he wanted due to injury setbacks.

He has moved to Hatayspor Kulübü in hopes of getting back to his best to have the chance to help the team.
