How to manage photos on iPhone

Apple keeps improving the Photos with each iOS update but iOS 14 brought some rather radical changes. Better album management, discoverability, and user navigation all were improved or made better in iOS 14

. New filters were added that help users find photos they are looking for or discover those that are lost. Photos app on iPhone lets the user keep their photos and videos organised and easily accessible. The app features four main tabs: Library, For You, Albums, and Search. Here are different ways that can help users manage photos on iPhone.

1. Update the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
2. Ensure that iCloud is set up on the iPhone/iPad.
3. Make sure that you’re signed in with the same Apple ID.

Here’s how users can manage photos on iPhone
To change the name of an album:

2. Tap Rename Album. 

3. Change the name, then tap Save. 

To rearrange albums:

1. Go to Albums, tap See All, and tap Edit. 

2. Tap and hold the album and drag it anywhere you want. 

3. Tap Done. 

With iOS 14 and later versions of iOS, users can also sort the photos within their albums. Here’s how:

  • Go to an album, then tap the More button.
  • Tap Sort, then choose a sorting option, like Custom Order, Oldest to Newest, or Newest to Oldest.
